Long Exposure Creativity Video

Thanks to B&H Photo Video for inviting me to speak at Event Space during PhotoPlus Expo in NYC, and a big thank you to an absolutely wonderful group of photographers who attended my presentation on long exposure creativity! I appreciated everyone’s great questions, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn new techniques. In this talk, I cover shooting in low light, the blue hour, shooting during the brightness of day with neutral density filters, and how to get creative with long exposures by capturing streaks of light from passing cars. I also touch on video, time-lapse and the ever cool cinemagraphs. I hope you enjoy it, and come away with a few ideas to apply to your own photography. Have fun shooting! ~ Deb

Fascinating lecture. From someone who doesn’t know very much about photography, this really opened my eyes!
