Photograph Croatia & Slovenia this summer…

Beautiful sunlight along dock and wooden rowboats at Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia.Travel to beautiful Croatia & Slovenia June 15-29 2015. Both countries are incredibly beautiful, there is a lot to explore and photograph. The people are very friendly and wonderful to meet, and the food is absolutely amazing. Last year we started out in Dubrovnik, which is an absolute jewel of a city. The blue hour and night time photography opportunities are fantastic. The last night wrappped up in Güjžina, the soul of Pannonia Restaurant in romantic Ljubljana, Slovenia where you can dine on everything made with pumpkin seed oil down to the ice cream, most delicious! The photo above is from Plitvice Lakes National Park, in Croatia where we see incredible waterfalls and vistas. You’ll get off the beaten path and experience the old towns of both countries, coming away with exceptional story-telling imagery. Our local guide Luka Esenko is also a great photographer, as is Mike Gulbraa who will be joining us too. I’ll be happy to share with you my favorite creative techniques for long exposure, blue hour, time-lapse, video and the very cool cinemagraphs (pictures with motion).  I hope you can join us, we have a great group going!

The perspective row of boats along side the dock, the reflective scenes in the glass-like water, the burst of sun rays from just behind the tree that is not a total silhouette, the blue sky and so much more…So much packed into one photo yet so calm and pleasing. I love it, great shot!
